Funded by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA) Race Equality Hub, GraceHola Ltd proudly delivered the LCR Shadowing Programme. The initiative paired 50 senior leaders with 50 aspiring leaders from ethnically diverse backgrounds. Over 12 months, participants completed five shadowing sessions supported by three development sessions.
The programme strengthened leadership pipelines, advanced inclusion, and created meaningful opportunities across the region. Thirty‑five testimonials were collected, and five participants achieved promotions into management or senior roles.

Ethnically Diverse Aspiring Leader, LCR REH Shadowing Programme
At Swale Borough Council in Kent, Modupe successfully led the delivery of two critical projects: the Swale Mobile Gateway project and the Sheppey Gateway project.
Both projects, aimed at providing accessible public services, were completed within budget and on schedule. Additionally, Modupe’s expertise in securing grants and funding played a vital role in supporting the council’s regeneration initiatives.
Furthermore, Modupe provided invaluable project and programme management support at Cheshire West and Chester Council, specifically in the Highways and Waste programmes. Her dedication ensured the council’s compliance with public service provision obligations and helped drive successful outcomes.

During her time at Swale Borough Council in Kent, Modupe used her skills to work on funding applications to deliver a range of projects that brought community partners together and delivered positive outcomes for our local communities across the area. These included:
Modupe supported the Milton Creek Country Park Project Manager in building a new £2m community open space on a former landfill site.
Modupe accessed regeneration funding (circa £10,000) to deliver a Swale Mobile Gateway as part of a community out reach programme and successfully delivered a £1.3m permanent Sheppey Gateway in Swale.
Modupe supported keys take holders and demonstrated critical leadership.
Modupe gained Heritage Lottery funding £50,000 for a community based project called In our Memories: Milton Creek and successfully supported the project delivery.
