Liverpool City Region (LCR) leadership initiative: Shadowing programme
Funded by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA) Race Equality Hub, GraceHola Ltd has proudly delivered the LCR Shadowing Programme. The programme connected 50 senior leaders and their organisations with 50 aspiring leaders from ethnically diverse backgrounds.
Our mission is to strengthen leadership pathways and improve representation for Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) professionals across the Liverpool City Region.
Over 12 months, participants completed five shadowing sessions with senior leaders, supported by three dedicated support sessions.
This two‑way experience enabled senior leaders to share insight, offer sponsorship, and open doors, while aspiring leaders gained practical exposure, confidence, and valuable networks.
The programme has helped to strengthen leadership pipelines, advance inclusion, and create meaningful opportunities for ethnically diverse professionals across the region.
